I Work the Same Job
You Do.

I’m Jim McDonald, a career firefighter and strength coach for 23 years. Before the fire service I worked strength and conditioning at the Division I and professional level, alongside dietitians, sports scientists, and some of the best performance coaches in the country. Then I came into this job and saw how much the training didn’t fit the work.

I work the same shifts you do. I pull the same hose, wear the same gear, and feel the same 2am tones drop. I built Altitude Performance to keep my peers healthy, capable, and strong for their whole careers, so they can retire well and be present for their families.
